.......after waiting for what seemed an ice age, my fire starter has arrived, a 42mm flat-slide mikuni carb,  UK customs for some fucking reason sent it back to LA, any how, £360 of my wife's hard earned wonga and it is in my hand.

PROGRESS

........is slow but moving forward, i made up and welded a battery tray but my welding still isn't up to scratch so zip helped me out and Benny welded it to the frame, cheers guys.

the pressed steel reg plate is ordered and paid for, the T shirt goes back a few years now, when Benny built 57 for the bobber build off, he said i aint a proper biker coz i don't have tattoos and i don't have long hair so i must be an urban surfer, to be honest i dont have any hair never mind long hair, ha ha
